The cake is a lie +

Having worked hard, created a brilliantly designed infrastructure for the company, patched thousands of security holes, working until the early hours of mornings. Its now the end of January 2010 when I see it paying off.

*crunches the numbers*

Hmm. It seems the myth of "working hard pays off" is a lie.

Epic failing 2

Having worked myself to death I decided to take a week break to relax and do something to take my mind off work. I decided to play Eve Online and using all my accounts make the last amount of Isk for the Nyx I had always wanted.
I have been working towards a Nyx for five years on and off, making slow but sure progress. I reactivated my accounts for my week of Isk making and started Ice Mining.
Relaxing to music, just 4 hours in, I had already made 220mil Isk, so was confident that after a week, I will be much closer to the 17bil needed for a Nyx.

Snow in Bath, but not much... 2

Having worked until the early hours of the morning the night before I woke up late and scrambled to get ready for work, fifteen minutes later I grabbed my bag and started heading down the 70 or so steps from my apartment to the ground floor, opened the door to see a pavement covered in Snow.

Doctor Who at Cardiff Bay 1

This weekend I had the pleasure of taking a break from work to head to Cardiff to celebrate a friends Birthday.
There were a few noteworthy events...
First of all, I managed to see two films, both of which were really enjoyable. 2012 was suitably enjoyable being a pretty standard action film. Then there was Paranormal Activity. Now I don't normally do horror at all. I have yet to get more than a few hours in to Doom 3 or Fear games as they scare the crap out of me, and I don't normally watch horror films at all.

Seasonal Tier System Mark 2 1

In a similar fashion to last years successful christmas, I had hoped to set a budget on my Christmas spending based on how much excess cash I had availible and then use that divided into different tier's as a means to budget the cost of christmas.

However, due to some ever increasing costs of living, even after cancelling some Eve Online subscriptions, it turns out from my cash flow monitoring that there is no cash flow. lol?
